A nice surprise in the new-releases section this week…. Swedish artist B.Baby has recorded and released his own version of a much-loved Melodifestivalen winner. ‘Move’ by The Mamas – the winner that didn’t get to go to the Eurovision Song Contest in 2020 cos COVID – it’s had some new life breathed into it. That killer chorus and rhythmic post-chorus have been revamped into a new mold and translated into Swedish, while maintaining all of their initial charm. And it’s pure delight to get to fall in love with that uplifting melody all over again.
