What’s this? The new single from Danish artist Asbjørn. It’s ‘We & I’, and it’s his second release this year, following on from ‘Nothing 2 Lose‘.
What does Asbjørn say? “‘We & I’ is a f–k you but I love you kind of song. Writing it was like taking back the power over my own heart. Like a personal mantra to celebrate that, despite the heartache, someone finally hit me so hard that being myself was no longer enough; it had to be we instead of I”
What does Scandipop say? “It better be we, we, we, we not I, I, I, better be we, we, we, we not I, I, I” is the catchiest post-chorus you’ll hear this week, if not month, if not summer.
More from Asbjørn? He’s currently working on his new album ‘BOY PWR’, to be released later in the year.
