Anne-Lie Rydé made her debut appearance on Så Mycket Bättre last night, with her arrival to the programme causing the splash we have all come to expect from the cross-genre-straddling Swedish icon by now. She gave us a cover of Molly Hammar’s Melodifestivalen classic (and a robbed classic, at that) ‘I’ll Be Fine’. Anne-Lie took the retro-soul original, gave it a retro-synth makeover, and penned new lyrics for it in Swedish – and so we now have ‘Jag Mår Bra’ to put in the heavy rotation in the coming weeks and beyond.
