She’s back?! With her first release of 2021. Swedish artist Anna Bergendahl returns with new single ‘Grain Of Trust’.
What’s it like? An upbeat pop tune on which Anna gets to further channel her passion for rousing country music – and through which we all get to enjoy the pleasingly uplifting results!
What does Anna say? ” I notice more and more that my songwriting has become a way for me to process everything tough that one goes through in a life. ‘Grain of Trust’ is about finally getting together again, family and friends, after a long time apart. Several in my family have been affected by cancer, and we, like everyone else, have not been able to meet because of the virus. On the way to the studio one day, I spoke to a family member who had a pregnancy complication, and on that very day it was a little difficult for her to see the light. So I wrote an encouraging song to her, to my family and to everyone who is worried about loved ones at this moment in time. It’s about the light coming, and about better times coming. If we just stick to that grain of sand of hope.”
