Finnish newcomer Aliisa Syrjä made her debut last year and has just come out with this, her third single ‘Sydämetön’. It’s a thoroughly charming tune, thanks in no small part to the way it has integrated some cleverly captured country influences into its composition. Finnish-language country-pop hasn’t sounded this good since Tuure Boelius barn-danced his way into our hearts with ‘Heinäkuu‘!
