We were going through some emails last night, and came across this gem (from February – sorry). It’s ‘Quiet Desperation’, from Swedish artist Adiam. A brilliant piece of music, that sounds like an update of the sound on some of Medina’s earlier breakthrough hits. It’s a superbly produced number with a catchy chorus and a repetitive post-chorus. But it’s the second half of the song, and its descension into something completely different, that really makes the whole thing standout for us. As this was released back in Feb, Adiam is already moving on to her next single. ‘Dead Girl Walking’ is released next Friday, May 20th. It was sent to us earlier today, and we can delightfully confirm that it’s also bloody ace. But wrap your ears around this beauty first;
