Some Sweden and some schlager at the JESC 2010

The 2010 Junior Eurovision Song Contest is approaching, but unfortunately, Scandinavian representation is quite thin on the ground. Only Sweden will be flying the Nordic flag. Josefine Ridell’s ‘Allt Jag Vill Ha’ is the Swedish entry. It’s a beat-heavy ballad with an easily catchy chorus, quite sweet with it. And it has Thomas G:Son and Arash down as co-composers, along with Johan Bejerholm, Robert Uhlmann, and Josefine herself.

Thankfully though, despite a lack of scandipop, there IS a schlager gem to be found in the line up of 14 songs. Latvia is sending Sarlote Lenmane with the saccharine induced ‘Viva La Dance’, which comes complete with a pounding backing track and a mighty fine key change. It’s most certainly worth three minutes of your time and can be heard below, under the Swedish entry.
