The Crown Princess of Scandinavian pop, September, hopped on a plane over to Finland earlier this week to thrill the Finns with some of that new tunage that has been warming up her fellow Swedes throughout this harsh Winter.
She performed a special gig for NRJ Radio there, and they were kind enough to film it and put it on their website for all of us to see. We’re delighted with the footage, as it’s the first time we’ve seen ‘Resuscitate Me’ performed live. She also sings ‘Me & My Microphone’, and it’s the same version as she did on Skavlan a few weeks back, with the new and extended intro. We hope that that’s the version we get on her album ‘Love CPR’ which is out in only a few weeks (*scream*!).
She performed both with a live band, but it didn’t take away from the delectable dance flavour of both thankfully. And as always, she’s looking FAB!
Whilst in Finland, September also dropped into the studios of The Voice Radio for an interview (in English). She discusses working with Finnish Darude for her new album, the meaning of both ‘Mikrofonkåt’ and ‘Me & My Microphone’, and the story behind ‘Resuscitate Me’.
