Today’s ‘Love CPR’ preview is ‘Intimate Connection’, one of the lower tempo dance tracks on the album. Musically, we think that it gives a certain nod towards the sound of her very first album, although it’s been electrofied and modernised somewhat. It’s got an interesting chorus, starting off with a blunt ”la la la” riff, and then giving way to a much more intricate melody, before returning to a final robotised monotone finish.
