Here’s a pretty damn good debut single that we stumbled upon a couple of weeks back. ‘Silent Panic’ by Sanna Stuardo. We actually found out about it while we were listening to her new single ‘Unsure’. But while that one ended up not being very up our street, this one most definitely is! It was released back in June, as it happens.
‘Silent Panic’ packs a whole lot of adorable charm, that we fell for on first listen. Thanks mainly to its chorus, that sounds like the blueprint for so many other choruses, yet also sounds like really nothing else around at the moment. The low key production also somehow manages to shine by way of its subtlety. So yes – an enjoyable mind-fuck all round then!
Sanna hails from way way WAY up North in Sweden – Skellefteå. And we’d love to hear more gems like this from her. ‘Unsure’ didn’t really hit these heights.
