New single from Norwegian singer Sandra Lyng – produced by her fellow Norwegian pop mongrels, Donkeyboy!
‘Don’t Care’ is the song, and the involvement from Donkeyboy is pretty evident within the first few seconds. What follows is a blippy and bleepy bubblegum electropop number. A bit short on any standout melody unfortunately, but certainly not lacking in terms of a top notch production. And despite no obvious sing-along chorus, the whole cheery disposition of the song is quite infectious. There are no highs and lows throughout the listen – it’s pretty linear the whole way through. Meaning that you’re never brought down from the commandeering intro.
It follows on from last year’s ‘Prtey‘.
