New Swedish electronica (or indietronika, as they prefer it to be called) act Sameblod have returned with a second single, after January’s ‘Loud’. And once again it is rather ear pleasing.
We’re not very good at describing this particular style of music – we always end up using the same words every time. Thankfully though, Sameblod have thought ahead and considered such a plight amongst reviewers who like this song, and so they’ve gone and had a stab at describing it for us. “The combination of the danceable and the beautiful – step by step to the stars. Wild nature and the pulse of the city. Magnificent synthesizers, plenty of reverb and delicate rhythms. Somewhere between Stockholm’s narrow streets and the cold air masses in the north. Cool arctic indietronika in combination with the balearic sunshine“.
