Rebecca & Fiona premiered their new single on P3 radio this morning. The Swedish lady duo are churning out new singles at an alarming rate, but when they’re as good as what we’ve been hearing so far, we ain’t complaining. Have a quick scroll through what we’ve written about them before to refresh your overworked memories.
Their latest tune goes by the name of ‘Jane Doe’. It’s one of their danciest tracks to date, most reminiscent of ‘Hard’, the better half of their recent double a-side single. So good on them for staying on the right track. For comparison purposes, we’re also going to throw in the name of another Swedish pop duo that has come to the fore this year – Smith & Thell. Both twosomes have a clear penchant for going back to 90’s clubland to draw inspirations. And both look enviably pretty while doing it.
There’s an album coming from Rebecca & Fiona soon. We have a slight hunch that it might just do very well indeed in Sweden.
