The Soundfactory remixes of Eric Saade’s ‘Popular’ were released this week. Radio mix, club mix, and dub mix.
Mr Soundfactory has continued his fine form for remixing Melodifestivalen 2011 entries with this one (see also his work on Le Kid’s ‘Oh My God’ and Sanna Nielsen’s ‘I’m In Love’). He’s played up to, and accentuated its jittery and stutter beats, giving it an 80’s PWL style makeover along with it. It’s a veritable explosion of extra large synths, and it all works a treat. It’s NOISY, but in a good way.
