It’s been four months since the release of Petra Marklund’s last single ‘Händerna Mot Himlen‘, and three months since the album ‘Inferno‘. A veritable AGE in pop music terms. And we’ve been wondering ever since then, what the second single to be taken from the album would be. With around eight tracks on there strong enough to be in genuine contention, it was anybody’s guess. But today her record label finally confirmed to us which of those songs it would be.
It’s ‘Sanningen’ (The Truth)! Written by Jocke Berg, and produced by Daniel Ledinsky & Saska Becker. We would say that it’s an album highlight, but as we’ve mentioned above, that album is so full of highlights that they all thus negate each other as such, and just turn ‘Inferno’ into the bloody well brilliant album that it is. The single has already been b-listed at P3 radio in Sweden, and a video has been filmed. All good.
