Swedish chanteuse Noonie Bao yesterday premiered the video for her new single ‘The Game’ over on PSL’s website.
It’s the fourth single to be taken from her ‘I Am Noonie Bao’ album which has already spawned the really very beautiful ‘Do You Still Care‘, and a couple of other singles that weren’t so up our street.
Don’t underestimate your listening experience of ‘The Game’. The verses plod along quite nicely, but just as you start thinking “yeah this is alright but where’s the tune love“, the amazing chorus hits. It’s a sprightly little bugger and totally makes the song, elevating it to dizzying levels of poptasticness. And then just as you’re craving more of said chorus, the whole thing cuts out at around the 2 minute and 45 second mark. We want more.
There’s a few exciting things in the pipeline for Ms Bao. Alongside future collaborations with Say Lou Lou (formerly Saint Lou Lou, but they had to change their name for legal reasons) and Style of Eye, she’s also heading off to LA soon to work with the same team behind David Guetta. Plus, she’s good friends with Le Kid, so we wouldn’t be surprised if anything happened there either.
The single has been released outside of Sweden too, should it take your fancy.
