NEO returned to pop last month with the release of his latest album ‘Reborn’. It’s a top class album, that we raved about in much more detail here, and we’ve been a tad disappointed with the somewhat muted fanfare surrounding his fabulous comeback. Now though, he releases a new single from it this week, to raise the volume of that fanfare a little – the album highlight ‘Exclusive Love’.
The track sees NEO return to his hyper disco roots. He saunters on back to the edge of Human Frontier, dabbling between futuristic synths and retro Giorgio Moroder basslines. And yes – his trademark falsetto vocals also get an airing too. For those who have missed pure pop NEO since his most sugary outing, ‘Human Frontier’, ‘Exclusive Love’ should be equally up your neon lit street.
