Now, people that haven’t done a ton of travelling might not be familiar with the concept of a concert residency, so, think of it as a concert tour, only, it takes place at the same venue.

Vegas is a major tourist hot-stop, people from around the globe travel to this magical city in the Nevada desert to take in what is known as the Vegas experience. While the city used to have a reputation as the premier gambling destination, it has lost that title in recent times due to the emergence of other contenders, such as Macau. But also, casinos along the Vegas strip have lost customers due to the rise of online gambling.

Online casinos are all the rage right now. These services allow customers the opportunity to play on their phone and choose from such a vast selection of games that if you put all the casinos worldwide together, they’ll still have trouble competing. Plus, with perks such as free spins, bonus rounds, loyalty programs, and progressive jackpots, if you’re in the gambling mood, you can quench that thirst right now! Once you register at an online casino, you will gain access to every online casino bonus

But, other than gambling, Vegas is known for providing top-of-the-line entertainment, they have to offer content to people to keep them there and playing. And, Vegas Residency is a sort of a tradition with many famous singers such as Elvis, Sinatra, Tom Jones, and Wayne Newton playing the city regularly.

Mariah Carey

Carey is one of the best-selling artists of all time with over 200 million records sold worldwide and is the third-best-selling female artist in the US, with sales numbers that top 63 million. As of late, she found a home at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Rumours say she’s looking into making her residency a long-term thing.

Mariah Carey may not be that active in the music business these days, but she still has chart-topping singles. For example, one of her biggest successes is All I Want For Christmas Is You, a song that always ends up on the number 1 spot during the winter holidays.

Lady Gaga

A Grammy and Golden Globe winner, Gaga is in top form, and you can see her at her peak at the Park Theater at Park MGM. Her residency is separated into two shows, “Jazz & Piano” and “Enigma”. The first one is geared towards a crowd that desires a more intimate experience, while the latter is more hit-friendly. In 2018, Gaga signed a two-year contract worth $100 million for this 74-show residency, with a possible extension looming.

Sting

A musician that has aged like fine wine and has persevered on stage for almost 25 years, Gordon Sumner is a legend. In 2019, he signed on to perform at the Colosseum in Caesars Palace, where his residency was titled “My Songs”, like his tour from that year. He promised to perform all his classics from his solo work as well as those from his time with the Police.

Aerosmith

One of the world’s most famous bands, and one that’s actually referred to as “America’s Greatest Rock Band”, Aerosmith settled in Vegas at the Park Theater inside Park MGM. As a residency required, they signed on to perform 50 shows, in what was titled Aerosmith’s “Deuces are Wild”. With extraordinary demand from fans, the band might be in Vegas for the long haul.
