The Ms Trez girls have returned with a new single. ‘LA at Night’, the Dancyn Drone Remix.
They’ve turned what was a sexy electropop track that appeared on their debut album ‘Beat’s Our Guide’, into a fully fledged dance tune with commercial, floor filling sensibilities. This one’s a pounder, and it hasn’t lost any of its sexiness SLASH filthiness. Plus they’ve extended it to a six and a half minute session. “LA at night….baby I’m your Aphrodite”. Whatever could they mean.
One of Sweden’s surprisingly few girlbands continue to fly the vaguely rainbow coloured flag for dancepop. And obviously we love them for that more than a little bit. Despite large indifference, they just keep on churning out the mostly very good tunes. Hopefully one day it’ll all be rewarded.
‘LA at Night’ is out now and has been released outside of Sweden too.
