The scandipop Facebook forum has unfolded another great find this week (request to join here, if you fancy joining in on the gripping chat). A charming young man, Christoffer from the North of Sweden, unearthed a new gem that’s just been released in neighbouring Finland.
It doesn’t take long before it hooks you in. We likened it to an 80’s Lili & Susie track that’s been re-dubbed in their native Finnish tongue, and remixed for 2011 consumption. It’s very scandipop, although we also think it has a touch of the pan European summer holiday resort hit to it. It’s quite poptastic, either way.
We must confess, we hadn’t heard of these Movetron folk before, which we’re thoroughly ashamed of now that we’ve had a flick through their Wikipedia page and seen that they’re actually something of scandipop legends in Finland. We’re gonna start investigating, and rectify this inexcusable ignorance at once!
As for YOU, well you can listen to their aforementioned new single below;
