The most memorable performance of last year’s series of Swedish Idol was undoubtedly when contestant Moa Lignell performed a self penned track during one of the live shows. It was called ‘When I Held Ya’, and it was so good, that we wrote a few words about it back then. It also went on to become the most streamed clip of the year on TV4’s website (!!!)
A few weeks later, she ended up finishing third overall. And now that the winner Amanda Fondell and runner-up Robin Stjernberg have unleashed their albums (both available to buy from the Scandipop Store!), Universal Sweden are ready to unleash the song that made us all do a little “wow” when we heard it that first time.
It was released today on iTunes in Sweden, with other digital platforms to follow on Monday. But on iTunes it’s already shot to number 1 within the first 24 hours – so far turning into the smash that everyone has expected it to be.
Below you can listen to it in its much anticipated studio recording. Just skip to the 13:30 mark of the stream.
