Next week, Swedish Idol graduate Moa Lignell releases her debut album, ‘A Different Path’. We’re very much looking forward to this. But what’s it gonna sound like?
Well we ALL know her super successful debut single ‘When I Held Ya‘ (which last week won her a coveted Rockbjörn award in Sweden), plus the two singles that followed, ‘Live Your Life‘ and ‘Whatever They Do‘. So that’s all very promising so far.
Recently though, Moa has been hugely generous on the whole social media thing, and she’s been giving previews of some of the new songs.
Rix FM are streaming ‘Home Tonight’ in full over at their website. And she’s also uploaded a couple of preview videos to her YouTube channel, in a “making the album” kind of set up. One features her singing a hefty preview of another new song on the album, ‘You Had It All‘, and another sees her preview a track called ‘Anything Is Enough‘.
So Moa Lignell fans will be pleased to learn that if they liked what she put out as her first three singles, well there’s plenty more where that came from on ‘A Different Path’. It’s very much all in the same mold, and she seems to have already found her own sound – which is quite remarkable when you consider her tender age. So there’ll be no surprises there. Although personally we wouldn’t mind being taken aback by a sneaky rave anthem tacked on at the end. That’s probably just us though.
BEHOLD pt1: The Moa Lignell album is available to pre-order from our online store already, for anyone living outside of Sweden.
