New electropop that’s just come out in Denmark. Maria Sejer and ‘Jeg Er’.
It’s not your traditional electropop fare though. This one is a lot more sweet and wholesome. You’ll know what we mean by that when you hear it, honest. The production on it is more Radio 2 than Radio 1. And the melody is the prettiest thing you’ll hear all day (unless you actually do listen to Radio 2, that is). Plus Maria’s vocal is a beauty in itself. The Danish language element adds even further to its charm. And the whole thing all together is just very sweet.
