Margaret Berger and Gabrielle (not THAT Gabrielle, THIS Gabrielle) have today put out a new single together. The two Norwegian popstresses have come together to record an acoustic cover version of Disclosure’s ‘Help Me Lose My Mind’.
At this stage we don’t quite know why – whether it’s for charity, or whether the pair’s Live Lounge-esque performance of it on Norwegian radio a couple of weeks back proved so popular, that demand to release it as a single was met. But we don’t really mind. We’re just enjoying hearing the two of them sing (so bloody well) together.
Particularly Gabrielle, whom we’ve never heard sing in either English or in an acoustic setting, has been a revelation. Christ that woman can hold a tune!
