One of Sweden’s all-time rock icons has switched her solo career up several gears in 2025, with Maja Ivarsson following a crowd-pleasing Melodifestivalen run in February and March with two bop-laden EPS, ‘Kamaikaze‘ and ‘ICONIC‘. ‘Do It’ is taken from the latter and is to these ears the best mark she’s left on this year, musically. Pairing her tour-de-force performance energy with synths that quite simply do not fuck about, it’s the crashing call-to-action we respond to so well to when it’s delivered with this much conviction.
