Velvet returned to Swedish television today. Quite the occasion, if you ask us!
She popped up on Efter Tio to perform her new single, ‘Love Struck’. We’ve been LIVING FOR the song since its release last month. This morning she performed it in an acoustic version – obviously not our preferred arrangement of the track, but it was great to hear a new take on a dance number we’re enjoying so much right now. Plus, perhaps Swedish television viewers might not have been QUITE ready for the Pitchline produced rave-a-thon at 10 o’clock in the morning!
Vocally, she delivered – we hadn’t realised how difficult those high notes in the chorus were until we attempted to replicate them ourselves recently. A mistake we won’t be making again! But Ms Velvet sounded great. As expected – this has all made us a trifle greedy. Velvet darling – we want more new music from you please. AND we would like to see more of you on the telly too.
