Earlier this week we were sent a very pretty song by email. We quite like it when that happens. It’s ‘Complicated’ by Lotti & The Mizuna Greens (the mind boggles as to what that name means), and it was Lotti herself who sent it.
It’s a really captivating song. So instant. We think it’s the matching together of an acoustic piano production, to a big 80’s stadium pop melody. Said melody sounds very recognisable, like something you’ve heard before. But it’s original. Still, the familiarity adds an extra layer of comfortability to each listen. And the 80’s guitar solo during the middle eight is quite spesh too.
