The international release of Loreen’s new single ‘My Heart Is Refusing Me’ comes with a nice little extra on it. Not just the new version of the song, but also a new remix, which isn’t really a remix but more another new version.
It’s a good version of the song for two reasons. Firstly because it stays very true to the original and doesn’t ever dare to veer off too much into bonkersdom. And secondly, because Seventy Eight are a part of Loreen’s trusty production team, who have already played a big part in molding and creating her sound. So, y’know – they were never gonna make a balls of it really.
This is definitely one for fans of The Strings.
Loreen’s ‘Heal’ album has today gone in at number 1 on this week’s Swedish album chart, and has already reached the top 10 in 17 countries around Europe. So we think we can already jot this one down as a success.
