Lisa Miskovsky yesterday released the first single to be taken from her forthcoming fifth album ‘Wild Winds’. And the new single is also called ‘Wild Winds’.
It’s a bit of a beauty, this one, so don’t be put off by the bore-a-thon that is the title. A lush production that’s laced with a hundred audio intricacies. And then topped by a subtle and mellow melody (let’s call it a mellowdy), which is delivered by Lisa’s quarter of a million records selling voice.
The most spellbinding bit is the middle eight, which plays out almost like the outro to Robyn’s ‘Dancing On My Own’.
Lisa’s been working on the ‘Wild Winds’ album with Peder and Anders Stenberg from Deportees. The single, released yesterday, has also been put out outside of Sweden too.
