Linda Sundblad has spent most of this year crafting away in the studio and coming up with some brand new tunes. In Swedish. And now she’s so excited about what she’s come up with, that she’s started to get out and about performing them for everyone. At gigs, on television, and then today she did a 25 minute live set for listeners of P4 radio. If you’re living in Sweden, particularly Stockholm, it’s very hard to get away from Linda and these songs right now. But then why would you want to?! We’re hopelessly in love with all of them.
Now however, even if you don’t live in Sweden, you can have a listen to one of these gigs. P4 uploaded the whole set to their website after her gig there today, and you can have a listen to it below.
Here’s the six song strong setlist;
Intim
Oh Father
Händerna På Täcket
Trasig
Sakna Vad Jag Aldrig Haft
Creep
Earlier this week Linda premiered a clip of the studio recording of one of those songs, ‘Sakna Vad Jag Aldrig Haft’ (Miss What I Never Had). We think it might be the next single. And we can’t remember the last time we pressed repeat on a small clip of a new song so frantically, and were so looking forward to hearing the full version. Well – we actually HAVE heard the song in full, when we attended her gig last week. And you can hear it for yourself above. But still, that’s the live version. The below recording really takes it to another level. And we’re fully prepared for the premiere of the full ‘Sakna Vad Jag Aldrig Haft’ to blow even its predecessors ‘Intim’ and ‘Trasig’ out of the water – no small feat, we must say.
