Late last year, Linda Pritchard gave us a glimpse of her clubland diva makeover, when she released her own clubland cover of Chris Isaak’s ‘Wicked Game’. We loved back then. We continue to love to this day.
She’d been promising a video for quite some time (her first pop vid, at that) and she finally premieres it on her Vevo channel. Hopefully giving the song a new lease of life, and some potential to get noticed around the world – as it deserves. There’s probably a lot of people who will baulk at the notion and execution of a dance cover of a cherished classic such as ‘Wicked Game’. But there are plenty more who’ll probably lap this up as the unashamed dancefloor decadence that it is.
The video sees Linda stripped down to a black corset undergarment, painted with black lipstick, wild red hair suitably untamed, and cavorting with a sharp shard of broken mirror. Hot hot hot;
