Attention everyone, this is amazing and you simply MUST listen to it!

We all know that last year Peter Jöback competed in Melodifestivalen with the song ‘Hollow’, taking it to the grand final in Globen. However, there was a lot of talk about the infamous demo version of the song, which had been recorded by another artist – Linda Pritchard. Sources who had heard the original demo, such as the Schlagerprofil boys, spoke of its incomparable power and emotion, and that it had sounded like a sure-fire contest winner. In the end, the song was given to the much bigger star, Peter Jöback. Anders Hansson was drafted in on co-writing duties, and the song performed respectably at the contest anyway, becoming a big fave of many.

The Linda Pritchard demo has finally surfaced online this week though, and while it’s not a million miles different, it is a sublime listen! We absolutely love Linda’s voice on it, she sounds phenomenal. This girl can certainly sing a big ballad, it’s truly epic. We particularly love the final note of the song, which goes higher rather than Pater’s lower.

Beautiful!

What’s more, it’s made us even more excited about hearing Linda Pritchard’s song ‘Alive’ in this year’s Melodifestivalen. It’s another huge ballad apparently, and like ‘Hollow’, it was composed by Fredrik Kempe, along with Oscar Görres.
