Right now in Denmark, the Danish version of Så Mycket Bättre is being broadcast. And getting us most interested in things is Lina Rafn, also knows as Her out of Infernal!
We guess she fills the part of the September role on the show. And as if to bring the comparison to its natural conclusion, it already looks as though she might have turned in this season’s ‘Mikrofonkåt’. Where September famously performed a club version of rapper Petter’s original in Sweden last year, Lina has gone and done a superb dance version of Joey Moe’s ‘Yo-Yo’.
It’s got it all – hands-in-the-air euphoric synths during the chorus (and hands do indeed raise to the air, as it so happens), and ‘Kärlekens Tunga’-esque cool electro for the verses. We love. It was released as a single in Denmark last week. Have a hark for yourself below.
