We adore this oh-so-pretty new song that’s come out of Norway recently. ‘Infants Of The Spring’ by Kristin Minde.
Ignore the kind of wanky song title, what lies beneath is a chipper tune that’s catchy and feelgood. Instead, we’re taking that title as a reference to the infantile, nursery rhyme-esque melody of the chorus. It’s better that way. This song is delight in its purest form. A chirpier track you will not hear today. If you do, send it our way.
Kristin Minde hails from Bergen in Norway (JUST LIKE ANNIE!), and describes her sound as being influenced by cabaret from the 30s and pop music from the 60s.
Here’s the wonderful ‘Infants Of The Spring’, which is out now on iTunes and has been released outside of Norway too.
