Sukkerchok were an incredible girlband. Not just because of their name, but also because they left behind two great albums in their short but sweet pop legacy. And now Kat Stephie from the band releases her first proper solo single (after this feature last year). ‘Uforbederlig’.
For her solo career, she’s done the decent thing and gone down the dancepop route. More specifically, ‘Uforbederlig’ is dirty electro house pop. A little bit filthy actually. And with that unmistakable Sukkerchok voice singing over the top of it. The verses are a bit weak (on first listen anyway – they get better). But the minimal vocal, maximum BASS chorus lifts things up remarkably.
