Finnish dancepop diva Johanna is back with a new single and video, ‘Tonight Is The Night’.
You may remember we wrote about her previous single ‘Alive‘, on this very week last year. That was pretty brill. And this is more of the same. Tunesome Eurodance fronted by a blonde pop lady – we’re in Heaven here! The club, that is. Admittedly, everyone from Kate Ryan to Cascada have done this kind of song before – ten years ago, and made it an album track. But Christ we’re pleased that someone somewhere is still doing it. Kudos to you Johanna, and may we get many more of this sort of thing from you in the near future.
We like the video for this song. Largely for Johanna’s glamour shots (the headphones and stilettos pose on the sofa is a favourite), but mostly for the dude who is break dancing in a suit, stops to take his shirt off for a minute, only to change into a t-shirt and recommence the break dancing. He’s got a great pair of tits on him.
