Big ol’ ballad!
‘Eva’ is the latest single from Finnish singer Jippu’s current album ‘Väärinpäin Lentävät Linnut’. It’s a warm and captivating ballad that hooked us in upon first listen back when it was released in April, so it’s great to see that it’s getting released as a single – and now with a video to go along with it too. It doesn’t matter that we don’t understand the lyrics – a beautiful melody delivered by her intriguing vocal makes all the sense we need it to.
This one builds and builds and builds into a rousing, satisfactory climax. We even get a choir chipping in for max effex.
