Earlier today, we linked to the clips of the ten songs that will be competing in this Saturday’s Melodi Grand Prix in Denmark. Amongst them, was Jenny Berggren’s ‘Let Your Heart Be Mine’. This is of course the entry that interests us the most. Not just because it’s by the former Ace of Base singer, but also as it’s been composed by Thomas G:son (alongside Jeppe Federspiel). We were delighted to discover that it sounded a little bit pop, a little bit dance, and a tiny bit schlager. So naturally, we’re enthused!
The full version of the song has now appeared online and it’s a full blown corker, thankfully (Jenny in key change alert)! You can have a listen below.
We’d love to see Jenny win the whole thing and thus go on to the Eurovision Song Contest, although we have to say that our favourite track on Saturday night is actually ’25 Hours A Day’ by Le Freak (also composed by G:son), the clip of which you can listen to below Jenny’s song.
