Last night at Lotta På Liseberg, Sanna Nielsen performed her brand new single for the very first time. It’s called ‘A Part Of Me’ and we like it. A lot!
It’s a mid-tempo schlager ballad. We say schlager because the melodies are so typically brilliantly schlager. The chorus has a melody that tweaks at the heart strings, particularly since it’s accompanied by uber love lyrics. And of course, it wouldn’t be schlager without a key change for the last chorus. A key change which is attempted, and achieved, with some gusto by Sanna herself in this performance.
We really do love Sanna Nielsen. She hasn’t put a foot wrong musically since 2007!
