Finland’s biggest male pop act (and currently making some waves around the rest of the Nordics too) Isac Elliot is back with the first single to be taken from his forthcoming new album. It’s called ‘Baby I’, and it’s WELL good.
A bit of a change in direction for Isac, ‘Baby I’ is an r&b-esque mid-tempo ballad. One with a stunner of a melody to it. It sort of has the same lyrical message as his debut single ‘New Way Home’ – “forget your current beau, I’m a better prospect“. But this time that message has got a lot more credibility to it – what with him being a little bit older and all that.
Vocally the young scamp is also sounding a lot better too, one year after his debut. Some deeper vox going on, so nature has obviously taken its course on him at some point over the last 12 months or so. Bless.
