Over in Norway we’re in week five of their new TV talent show The Stream (more details on that here). There are five contestants left, and this week’s an exciting one – because the songs they are relying on Spotify streams for in order to save them (again, more details on that previous link) are all original songs! You can listen to all five of the songs right here, but today we wanted to highlight one in particular. ‘Hear You Sing’ by Ylva Olaisen. It’s an epic synthpop ballad – precisely the sort of thing we’d most definitely be featuring on here were it released in its own right outside of the contest. So let’s big it up as the pop powerhouse it is.
