Icelandic artist Sylvia Erla arrived onto the music scene last year with a few singles. But now she’s back with her first release of 2017 – and what feels like her proper arrival as a popstar. That comes in the form of ‘Wolf Call’. Her best single to date, thanks to the cold hard fact that it is a relentless banger-and-a-half. So much so that if you cock your head and strain your ears at certain points of the song, it actually sounds like she’s teasing out the line “banger-banger-banger“. She knows! Brilliantly produced, and calling upon more than its fair share of servings of pop trickery in the mix. We love.
