Last autumn, Iceland kicked off its first series of Idol since 2009. With both BRÍET and Birgitta Haukdal on the judges panel throughout the series, the comeback season drew to its conclusion last night. We now have a winner and indeed a winner’s single – Saga Matthildur with the wistful ballad ‘Leiðina Heim’.
