Who are these guys? A brand new Danish group going by the name of Pastell. This is their debut single and video released today – ‘Perfect Girl’.
Yeah but who are they? Pastell are Oskar (singer/songwriter), Malthe (producer/songwriter), and Markus (producer).
What do Pastell say? “Pastell is just three friends who have known each other forever – at least that’s what it feels like when you’re only 18-20 years old. We all love music and dream about taking it to the next level. During our musical upbringing, we have played together and separately and have worked with music in different ways. When we mix our individuality and competences we have experienced that we are able to produce something new and fresh. We want to create music that people can dance and sing along to – that’s the essence of Pastell”.
What does Scandipop say? We love this. A group who are set on making synthpop music that sounds like dance music. ‘Perfect Girl’ sounds like The Weeknd doing a collaboration with Years & Years, and sending it off to remixers. We’re already excited to hear what’s gonna come next.
