These two sisters (Anilde and Azilda) are the most recent winners of Danish X Factor – having taken the crown when the latest series came to a head last month. They competed under the name Embrace, but have now launched their pop career under a new name – literally New:Name. Over the weekend they released their first single and video – ‘Don’t You Wait’ (written and produced by Julian Bunetta and John Ryan). It’s a brilliant concoction of soul music merged with folk music (honestly – wait till the post-chorus), and all wrapped up in shiny pop music. On Friday they also put out their debut EP – ‘True Story‘.
