Who? 23 year old Finnish singer Mitra Kaislaranta! She found fame on the 2013 series of Finnish Idol. And this year she’s released her debut album ‘Mitra’. ‘Jotain Pysyvää’ is her latest single and video.
What’s it like? We love this song. It’s a blissful and joyous pop track with a quirky take on the tropical house sound that’s so popular at the moment. The (instrumental) post-chorus is adorable, and the actual chorus is pretty huge. The refrains also heavily relies on the most universally recognised Finnish word – KIITOS!
