Swedish artist Lollo Fält has over the weekend unleashed a couple of gems upon us, the listening public. ‘Love Sucks’ and ‘LiveLove’. Two tunes that both fall into the category of top quality electropop, though with both managing to sound very different from the other. ‘Love Sucks’ channels its aggression through its lyrics – a had-it-up-to-here statement that’s been set to a dreamy synth production. While ‘LiveLove’ takes its aggresion out via its banging production – which sounds like the kind of track Marilyn Manson would have composed a topline over, around 15 years ago (ie amazing). Both songs were written by Lollo herself, along with Emil Vaker.
You can find ‘Love Sucks’ and ‘LiveLove’ on our Best New Synthpop playlist.
