After previously making tunes with the band Heart/Dancer, Swedish artist Linnéa has today come out with her debut solo single. It’s ‘Dreamgirl’ – an instant slice of (suitably) dreamy electronica, elevated by a strong melody and made rather intriguing by the purposefully arrogant lyric. Of the song, Linnéa says “Initially Dreamgirl was titled Stupid Fuckboys, but after a short while I realized the biggest fuckboy of them all was me. There was a time when I got so obsessed with appreciation that I transformed into a complete douchebag. This song is partly an apology to every person who had to experience this side of me, but mostly it’s about how wonderful I am and how easily I can get whoever I want.” So now you know!
