The final of Swedish Idol 2016 took place at the end of last year – and we had a new Idol winner. And a new Idol winner’s single! Liam Cacatian Thomassen was the runaway champion of the latest series. And following his win, he released the single ‘Playing With Fire’. Sonically, it was in keeping with the impact he made on the show. So to put it simply, it’s the kind of song befitting a Global superstar in waiting. We have the feeling that Swedish Idol has found it’s biggest winner yet! And the song has since gone on to clock up just under 5 million streams on Spotify. Today, Liam releases the acoustic (piano ballad) version of the song.
