And who ARE Last Night On Earth? A new Swedish duo. Vocalist Marilyn and multi-instrumentalist Albin. They also quite happily go by the acronym of LNOE, for the lazy amongst us.
What have they come out with? Their debut single is called ‘Leaving Cities’, and they’ve just released a video for it. An EP is also on its way.
What does Scandipop say? Instantly likeable electropop with a production that ignites the happy feelings, and conversely a melody that tugs on the heart strings. Listen out for the post-chorus that follows the second chorus. And the stringtastic middle eight. And actually the main chorus too, while you’re at it. Very good.
